The Afghanistan Development and Vocational Training Program (ADVTP) is a humanitarian NGO, licensed since 1991. Our main focus? Building up the physical infrastructure that helps local communities grow stronger, not just in Kabul but throughout Afghanistan.
We only take on projects that really matter for people’s lives. There’s nothing commercial about what we do. Instead, we team up with international donors, government agencies, and other NGOs—always looking ahead to a better future for Afghanistan.
Here’s what sets our construction work apart:
1. Community Surveying
We get on the ground and survey every site, making sure anything we build ends up in the right spot and genuinely helps people.
- Mapping rural schools and health clinics.
- Finding the best places for clean water access.
2. Engineering That Works for People
Our engineers care about safety, sustainability, and public needs.
- Designing energy-efficient community centers.
- Creating smart plans for things like electricity and ventilation in rural health facilities.
3. Building for Education & Health
We build and repair vocational schools and rural clinics, giving communities safe places to learn and get healthcare.
4. Better Roads, Connected Lives
You can’t get anywhere without reliable roads. So we rebuild rural roads and keep them in good shape, connecting even the most remote villages to markets, schools, and medical help.
5. Safe Bridges
We build and repair bridges so families can cross rivers and rugged land safely, opening up access to vital services.
What makes us different? Every ADVTP construction project doubles as real-world classroom training. While building for communities, we teach local students hands-on skills—masonry, carpentry, engineering—right on the job. So the community benefits twice: new infrastructure today, and skilled workers for tomorrow.
ADVTP only keeps going because of the support from generous donors. Together, we’re laying the groundwork for Afghanistan’s self-sufficiency.
