Strategic Partnerships, Global Donors & Institutional Impact
Organization: Afghan Development and Vocational Training Program (ADVTP NGO)
Document Focus: Institutional Donor Portfolio & Global Program Allocations
1. Executive Overview: Collective Impact
ADVTP’s work across Afghanistan relies on the support of international donors and institutional partners. These relationships sit at the heart of every development and emergency project we run—whether it’s in education, health, livelihoods, or community infrastructure. By combining grassroots insight with international standards, we turn donor grants into real changes people feel in their daily lives.
Our projects cover five core areas:
Education & Literacy: Building safe classrooms and rural learning centers, opening doors to education for all.
Vocational Training & Livelihoods: Giving women, young adults, and displaced families market-ready skills to support themselves.
WASH & Infrastructure: Delivering clean water through sustainable networks and gravity-fed irrigation.
Health & Nutrition: Rolling out health programs and nutrition support in communities that need it most.
Rights & Safeguards: Strengthening systems for child protection and creating lasting opportunities for women.
2. Global Flagship Initiative: Tamdon & Accelerator Food Security Program
We’re proud to be the exclusive partner for Afghanistan in the Tamdon and Accelerator Food Security Program. This initiative tackles the major climate and food security challenges facing 12 vulnerable countries—including Afghanistan, Sudan, Yemen, and others.
ADVTP’s work here falls in two main areas:
Track 1 – Climate-Smart Agriculture: Teaching drought-resistant farming, renewing topsoil, and improving water management.
Track 2 – Tech for Food, Energy, and Water: Expanding solar-powered water pumps and clean energy to boost agriculture and make a difference in everyday lives.
3. The ADVTP Donor & Partner Ecosystem
We hold ourselves to tough standards—complete financial transparency, regular compliance checks, and close collaboration with both global and national organizations. Here’s a look at the agencies, foundations, and governments that back us, along with what their support makes possible:

4. Partnership Value & Safeguards
Fiduciary Accountability & Monitoring
Every ADVTP project faces regular internal reviews and independent audits. We keep donors up-to-date with live expense breakdowns, GPS-tracked progress markers, and field reports that show exactly what’s happening on the ground.
Local Civil Society Integration
We work hand-in-hand with local shuras and community groups, making sure every project fits local needs and is owned by the community. This collaboration is how real, sustainable change happens.
The Rights-Based Approach
We make sure women aren’t just included—they’re front and center. Our systems guarantee women receive direct access to job training and economic recovery support.
